Acrossss the whole of Azeroth, faint music in plays the night and colorful lights glow upon the city streets. The time has come for all citizens to gather around and celebrate the Winter's Veil with joy and love! Set your amor aside, wear some winter clothes and prepare to send your loot wishlist to Greatfather Winter! Throw snowballs, eat Gingerbread Cookies, drink Egg Nog and spend a lovely time with your friends throughout the whole month in all of Azeroth’s and Outland’s cozy locations.
Grab some friends and head to Shattered Halls, Shadow Labyrinth, Auchenai Crypts, Durnholde Keep, Mechanar or Botanica. Slay the final boss to acquire Red or Green Winter Hats and complete your festive looks!
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening? Greatfather Winter is visting the cities of Ironforge and Orgrimmar (courtesy of Smokywood Pastures) and every adventurer, small or tall, dwarf or gnome, will wait in excitement to start unwrapping presents on the 25th of December.
Among all the jolly festivities, however, there is always a “mean one” who seeks to spoil the pleasure for others. In the snowy mountains of Hillsbrad Foothills, a foul beast is plotting to ruin the Winter's Veil for everyone! Talk to the goblins of Smokywood Pastures and help them with a grinch foe!
And, if that wasn't enough, disaster has struck! One of Greatfather Winter’s eight reindeer has been kidnapped! Without him, there will be no presents for all to enjoy! Help Smokywood Pastures save the Feast of Winter Veil and ensure the holidays are a merry time for every citizen of Azeroth!
Finally, with all the happiness on Azeroth, don't forget about the family of your own. Pay them a visit, show some love, build a snowman and sing a Christmas song, because the real Winter's Veil magic happens outside of the virtual world! From all of us at Atlantiss, please stay safe during this time of the year and remember to celebrate with those you hold dear! We wish you all a Merry Christmas!
